VÄTH have presented their latest tuning package for the Mercedes GLA 45 AMG. Dubbed the V45, this model comes equipped with carbon fibre additions including a new rear spoiler, diffuser and front lip spoiler. VÄTH also provide additional customisation options on the V45, including reduced ride height and 20-inch black rims.
The interior has been upgraded to include a leather-wrapped steering wheel and additional carbon fibre or wood trimming. Optionally, customers can upgrade their interior to include alloy pedals and velour floor mats.
Power wise, the 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine has been tuned to produce 327 kW and 539 Nm of torque, which is a substantial increase from the stock GLA45’s 265 kW and 450 Nm of torque. The massive increase is largely attributed to the stainless steel EVO down pipe and valve controlled VA stainless-steel exhaust system. These upgrades enable the hot crossover hatch/SUV to reach 280 km/h.
For the less crazy who prefer something a little more subtle, VÄTH also produce a lower end model producing 290 kW and 485 Nm of torque.
