Nissan Australia has announced a number of increases in standard equipment and a new ST+ trim level for its 2019 Pathfinder, which sees a number of price rises across the range.
The updated range kicks off at $43,390 for the front-wheel drive ST V6 which signifies the dearest $1,400 price increase, although it now gains AEB with forward collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control as standard. The all-wheel drive ST V6 also sees a price increase of $1,400, while the ST Hybrid 2WD asks for $1,900 more than before.
Positioned above the ST is the new ST+ variant, which adds a surround-view monitor with moving object detection and satellite navigation. Available with V6 petrol-power alone, it will ask for $1,200 more than the respective ST V6.
The mid-range ST-L sees the smallest price rises – as little as $15 for the Hybrid variant – but gains adaptive auto-levelling LED headlights to justify the minor price rise.
Topping the range as before is the Ti, which adds heated seats for the second row and Rear Door Alert – a new safety feature that will alert drivers not to leave children or pets in the back of the car.
Additionally, all variants now gain a USB-C charging port on the back of the centre console.
As before, two engine choices are available. Available in all variants is a 3.5-litre naturally aspirated V6 producing 202kW and 340Nm paired to a CVT automatic, while a hybrid drivetrain marrying a 2.5-litre supercharged four-cylinder petrol engine to an electric motor – putting out a combined 188kW and 330Nm – is available in all variants bar the new ST+.
The 2019 Pathfinder range is on sale now.
