Most tuners will customise a car by adding a few bits of aero kit, but not Vilner. The Bulgarian tuner has taken a previous-generation BMW 6 Series and completely altered its front fascia and rear end. And I must admit, it actually looks pretty good.
I was never a fan of the E63 6 Series, its fat like a beached whale and all the Chris Bangle mess just made it look worse. Vilner’s Bullshark 6 Series on the other hand, looks sharp, especially from the front, with a hint of the BMW i8.
Examine the car closely and you’ll spot Vilner has used bits and pieces from the Infiniti FX, such as its headlights. Its turn signals are inspired from the BMW Z4, while the taillights are taken from the facelifted 6 Series of the same vintage. The BMW 6 Series Bullshark rolls on 19-inch Z Performance alloy wheels.
Inside the cabin, Vilner has upholstered the entire cockpit with leather and Alcantara – even the rear-view mirror is covered in leather. They have also customised the car’s steering wheel, gearshift lever and dashboard instruments. To top it off, a Ground Zero audio system takes centre stage.
Power output from the 4.4-litre V8 has also been boosted with AC Schnitzer upgrades. It now produces 272kW of power and 552Nm of torque, up from 245kW and 450Nm.
