The toughest ever Nissan Navara is taking shape in the form of a new Warrior based on the rugged PRO-4x.
Building on the first Navara N-Trek Warrior introduced in 2019, the new model will bring added capability and versatility. Developed in partnership with Australian specialised vehicle development and manufacturing company Premcar, the Navara N-Trek Warrior is created to tackle the harshest of Australian environment, with it featuring off-road goodies such as stainless steel front underbody protection and integrated 470mm LED light bar amongst other accessories.
Premcar is Nissan’s core partner for its broader Warrior program, with Navara models re-engineered in Victoria to create new and exciting flagship models.
Reflective of the work of both Nissan and Premcar, the new off-road focused model will be called the Navara PRO-4X Warrior by Premcar.
Both capability and comfort will be at the core of the new Warrior, with the locally-developed model adopting the extensive equipment list of the Navara PRO-4X, including a new 7.0-inch instrument cluster display, an 8.0-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity and a leather-accented interior.
Premcar’s engineering upgrades also pair with the Navara’s comprehensive safety equipment, including seven airbags, Forward Collision Warning and Automatic Emergency Braking.
Powering the Navara N-Trek Warrior will be the 2.3-litre twin-turbo diesel engine that produces 140kW @ 3750 and 450Nm @ 1500-2500, the same unit found under the bonnet of the PRO-4x. The Warrior also maintains the Navara’s 3.5 tonne towing capacity.
The Navara N-TREK Warrior set a high bar in 2019, and the 2021 Navara PRO-4X Warrior by Premcar is sure to further the Warrior legend in Australia. Pricing for the N-Trek Warrior will be announced closer to its launch in early December.
