We live in an unprecedented time with governments all around the world locking down cities and pleading for everyone to stay at home in an attempt to flatten the curve of the dreaded new coronavirus, including here in Australia.
Naturally, restricted movement means many people suddenly have plenty of time in their hands and while some are turning to online dance classes or learning to cook their grandmother’s recipe, others are discovering their artistic side.
To help get through this tough period and make quarantines and social distancing more pleasant, a number of carmakers are doing their bit to help get the creative juices going.
One of them is Audi, which has produced a free, 13-image colouring book available to download. As expected, its flagship Audi R8 sports car gets a starring role in several pages, while the company’s popular SUV range also get featured in a few images. Others making an appearance include the Horch touring car, a 1930s grand prix racer and Quattro rally car.
Meanwhile, Mercedes-Benz has also released a colouring book showcasing several of its models from the AMG GT3 to the drifting A45, as well as Vision AVTR concept. They have also included classic from their illustrious past like the 300 SLR, 500 E and 600.
EVs are represented by the EQC, while the Formula E’s EQ Silver Arrow 01 and F1 W11 EQ Performance also feature.
So, stay safe, stay home and channel your artistic side!
