You can download the demos from the Webcast Keith and I did this afternoon from my webcast page here. If you attended, the question raised about whether declarative data source controls check the IsValid flag before performing database interaction - the answer is yes, they do. So you don't have to worry about checking the IsValid flag yourself when using declarative data source controls, they already do the right thing.

Is there an ASP.NET mailing list that the uberlords of ASP.NET hang out on? Also sorry to bother, but any estimate on when version 2.0 of your classic ASP.NET book will be in the publisher's hands and ready for printing? Thanks.

I tend to find the most interesting ASP.NET content on blogs these days, not as much on mailing lists.
And my next book is targeted to be released in the spring of 2006.
