We will give an "under the covers" look at various components of the Common Language Runtime to help give a better understanding of where performance issues appear. The session will explain how to write applications so that they make optimal use of the JIT, GC and the Framework classes. We will also discuss the performance work that the .NET Compact Framework team has developed for the Whidbey release to aid you in writing better performing applications.
MBL204 Application Design and UI Guidelines for Windows Mobile Devices<

This presentation will explain the design principles, both interaction and UI, that can be used when writing software for mobile devices; touching upon the similarities and differences between the desktop and the device, the difference in user expectations and abilities, and differences between PocketPC and Smartphone devices.
