TechEd 2008 Registration Starts Next Week

If you are planning on going to the TechEd 2008, again held in Orlando, then you can start signing up starting next Tuesday.

I have been to TechEd for the last few years, but I am torn about going to this one. I am not a big fan of the new dual track (one for Dev and one for IT Pro's) scheme that happens one week apart.  So, I am thinking I will be skipping it.

The other factor is there probably won't be that much content which is new I will care about. I am thinking much of the content will be focused on Windows Server 2008.

So, who is planning on going?

Count me as another non-fan of the dual track format. I liked the ability to mix-n-match sessions. I'm think I will skip this year as well.

I haven't missed a TechEd since 2003 and will definitely be going this year.  I'm looking forward to the new format, since I'm strictly on the IT Pro side and never found any of the developer content to be of any interest. Obviously that isn't the case for everyone, but I think this will help the event to be more focused and relevant.

I find as well that my time is split about evenly between old and new technology.  I have yet to walk away without having learned something about products we've been using for a while.

Not sure if I am going or not.  But Josh, if you come down here lets be sure to meet up.
