I'm happy to announce that Keith Brown has agreed to assist with the writing of Essential ASP.NET 2.0. Keith is going to be lending his security prowess and general ASP.NET knowledge to help me get this book out the door. We'll be working hard to finish this spring to get it out in your hands later this year.

If there was a pre-order somewhere I'd click it right now. You wouldn't believe how many time I have recommended your v1.x book to my peers. It's by far the favorite ASP.NET book on my bookshelf.

Looking forward to your book.

Your Essential ASP.NET 1.1 book is still the best book out there because it does not treat the reader like a baby and provides advanced level knowledge.

Now that you have the coauthor, do not loose that magic touch. Please provide us with even more hardcore book than the first one, something that is purely for expert level ASP.NET developers. Not just a book on CRUD ASP.NET work (those books are dime a dozen).

Fritz,

You had set the high standards in the v1.0 book. I always refer back to the book.

I keep searching the web for your book (v 2.0)recently.

Looking forward to it...

i would not mind waiting for the book and paying extra 25 dollars as long as the book has same quality as asp.net 1.1

My favorite book on ASP.NET is without doubt Fritz Onion's Essential ASP.NET With Examples in C#, but
