Intellisense in Visual Web Developer 2005
Visual Studio 2005 Express First Impressions:
I didn't start a project, but I did open up two kinds of files, an HTML file and a CSS file. I did not have intellisense with either of these files. I wonder if I have to have a project before it works. Nevertheless, I enjoyed using the Document map and the Style Builder to edit my CSS file. I also enjoyed using the HTML editor that didn't change my HTML when I went back and forth from Preview mode.
Actually, I first put together the HTML with Photoshop (this allows the greatest creativity), then I tweaked it with Visual Web Developer. You can see the outcome at:http://www.corerehabcenter.com . It's Irene Acevedo's Physical Therapy Practice.
Watch-out Salt Lake City, it's the return of the web developer!
If you want to download free Visual Studio 2005 Express Versions (I did this last night and they're great!):
Download free before Nov 6, 2006 and it's yours free to use forever.
I downloaded and installed the following (click to go to each download site):
Visual C# 2005 Express Edition
Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edition
Visual C++ 2005 Express Edition
SQL Server 2005 Express Edition
When I get a chance, I'll get the VB version as well.
