free Visual Studio 2005, free SQL Server 2005
Launch Tour 2005
Microsoft is having a free Launch Tour in which they give away free copy of Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Server 2005. I only found out about it last night and was eager to register. There was no event in Salt Lake City so I looked in all the other USA cities. I found that they were all full.
To my delight, I found they have make-up events in which they also give away free software:
They have these in Salt Lake City December 1 but it was full. I did manage to find openings in Las Vegas (Henderson, NV) on November 10, so I registered! Praise the Lord! I'm taking a day off and driving to Las Vegas. I hope the long drive does not give me too much back pain.
